table tennis :)

The first time I was exposed to it was about 9 years old. It had been 7 years later that I second time playing it. It was all of a coincidence. I played in the basement that was set for table tennis giving the staff a good environment to relax. And as I was playing, I was noticed by another one who also played table tennis, who is a senior. But at that time, my skill was still very poor but had certain potential, I guess. Perhaps, he thought me as an potential player, so he stoke a conversation with me, telling me how to play table tennis right in technique. From then, after the school was over, I went to the basement and anyhow always met him. Then I grasped the chance to improve and tried asking any possible answer about how to play it. My skill was sharpen every time I met him, and therefore I am now good enough to join the school team.

When I entered the CGU, I have made up my determination to major in guitar and table tennis. The fate of me seems doomed to be that way. I took the audition in the school team at Semptember, the time when I was not even familiar with the school. At that moment I was played with the senior, I thought that I really got little chance to join the school team. However, what with luck and capacity, I had the honor to join the school team. Comparing to other seniors there, I am just a rookie. Whenever I make an invitation to have a play, I often lose. But I still think that one day, I will be an important to the school team, so I practice it more than three days in a week.I never feel tired; Anyway, it's one of my favorite.

The baked rice and spaghetti

I like the baked food so much!! Especially when it is made by MY own hands.

Because last time I came home, I made a request to my mom for a dish of spaghetti. She at first deny it, but finally she made it. It was actually not really good, for the sauce is too thin and not resemble to the one sold in restaurant.

However, my mom is a person who always asks herself a lot to make improvement. This time she referenced the recepi on the Internet, and used the same materials to make it. She is a smart person and therefore she did not follow the procedures shown on the page. Even if she did it at her own will, the sauce she made was certainly a triumph. It was so successeful that even my father who is a picky eater compliment her on the sauce this time. It also surprised me cause the sauce is almost better than whatever I had ate.

But that's not all.

She made another kind of sauce, which is specially used in the baked food. The sauce is mainly composed of variety of vegetables and shrimps, and most importantly, the milk. But different from the common food sold in the restaurant, she added some curry in it. I slightlt blamed her for adding it for I take the flavor not the same as the one in the restaurant. However, we still put some rice and spaghetti in a plate, drenched it with the sauce, sprinkled some cheese on it, and then put it into oven. The process of the melting cheese really impressed me. From the beginning, it was simply something like thin thread. As the time passed, it started to melt until filled the plate like a plain. My heart at the same time beat with the expectation I am looking forward to eating it. And at the last moment it was moved out from the oven, it striked me again. It was not a pure yellow, but dotted with certain gold colors. How glamourous it was!!

As I digged out a spoon and put it into my mouth, I could help myself speaking out loudly, " yummi! yummi!" It did not fall out of my expectation, instead, it was really a wonderful dish.

my band- blue bubble

Why I named it blue bubble? I still can not figure it out.

Since I were a junior high, I have had a dream to build a band. But however, I did not have enough time and money for playing a band, so I at last chose to join the folk guitar club to learn some skills about guitar, and it was then that I really fell in love with guitar. I was so obsessed with the melody from the guitar, and sometimes I even practiced the guitar so hard that I slept with it on my bed. It was such a sweet memory, isn't it?

After I entered the school, I started to make effort to make up a band. At first, I thought it was not acheivable, for I was disappointed for the peers I met at first sight. But as I tried to be acquaint myself with them, I gradually realized that there was not only me who want to have a band. The person I first found that shares common idea with me is the guitarist, A-shing(star). He was once in the chiang-chung senior high school guitar club, and in charge of an important position. We were so crazy about music that we played the guitar and sang together overnight. From the beautiful and poetric begining, we found our partners in progress.

We then found the drummer, Po-Po Lu. She was once a beginner. However, time and effort sharpen one's skills. She is now great enough to get my compliment. And then we found the bass and the singer. All the acquaintance were in a coincidence. Unknowingly, we built a band. And finally we have a band, which might be a dream since we were young for any one of us. Therefore, I named the band blue bubbles, and A-shing gave it a specail explanation, " A band consists of buddies sharing the same dreams that gradually rise up onto the sky like blue bubble."

But our genro has not decided yet, we are still roaming styles in popular to rock. Actually, I am fond of heavy metal. But there are so few people having interest in it. If you have the insterst of seeing how good we are, do not doubt, just rise your foot up and step forward to CGU, to see our performance on May, 22th. The Musis Night we hold is coming!!

old guy, new friend

I recently met a guy who graduated from Chung Gun University, majoring in engineering. Since he graduated, he had been an agent in the tech company, which demands high capability of English. Therefore, he had sharpened his English there. But at last, he realized that the degree of mere bachelor of a private school is not efficient to be used as an important employee. Then he went back to studies, preparing for the master's degree.

Interesting as it was, we met each other in the Hot Music Club Office, and started our conversation from the common point that we are both from Taichung, and graduated from the I-Chung senior high. We chatted about how our school has been changed, how the vendors in the vicinity of I-Chung has shifted, and.... We talked a lot. But at last we did not leave each other's profiles before saying good-bye. There was little regret for that people that I encounter I take them just as a flow in my daily life river.

But yesterday, as I was surfing on the BBS in C.G.U., I found a topic named, "Finding the rookies." From the article, I deduced immediately that he was the senior that I met there. But at that moment, the main impression he gave me was that he is a great drummer and bassist. However, it changed soon after I have a long chat with him on MSN. Because I had done a silly thing and caused a big problem in the Hot Music Club Office, I was "famous" for the event. He regconized my ID right away after I joined him as my best friend in MSN. And he started to cheer me, hoping that I was not frustrated by that event. He then talked a lot of philosophy from how to handle the relationship to how to become a moderate leader. Those points really inspired me a lot and what he said happened to be correspont to waht I had been desired to say, but unable to say them in sentences. We chatted for more than a hour, which is really different from the hour of the past I chatted with others.(The topics when I am with my classmates are always gossipy.)At last, he encouraged me to be a person who does not stays up and make use of the morning to study, which reminded me again.

From yesterday's talk, I gradually realized the idiom in Chinese, " friends of ignoring age." For the reason that we can get the experience from the old, and not to be tripped by the same mistake they had done, or we can set the old as a model to follow. After I know him, I see my future goals more clearly, and therefore I wrote on my MSN condition, " Gradually, I find the "pick"(the gimmick for guitarist, which is really important.) of my life"
